Coming out of hibernation…

25 Jun

*blinks in the sunlight*

It must be spring.

I can hear the network traffic bubbling merrily along the cables by my feet.

Over the way a phone sings happily away to itself.

And the ants are enjoying my pringles almost as much as I am.

Sounds to me like everyone is contented!

Hullllllo? I’m sitting here with the heater on full blast, having sat in my office all day typing with cold hands, avoiding looking at the grey grey skies outside, and vainly trying to keep warm by drinking cups of tea. Meanwhile the whole of England is smitten with floods in which people are dying.

And since when did spring start in mid-June anyway 😯 😑 😑

I was *trying* to be cheerful…!

And having internet again is quite good πŸ˜€ even if the rest of the world out there is not as happy for me as I am for me πŸ˜›

*is starting CSS… as soon as I’ve caught up on my email backlog of the last month…* (I’ve got questions already πŸ˜› which no doubt you’ll hear about in due course!)
